Application Process
If your organization is a registered Canadian charity with a stated Christian faith and purpose and an important and identifiable element of your work is the development and encouragement of Christian leaders, potential Christian leaders, and/or Christian families (or you have a small but significant project to which this criteria applies) we invite you to submit a two (2) page concept paper outlining the purpose for which you are seeking Deersbrook’s investment in your ministry. Please email your concept paper as a MS Word or Adobe attachment to foundation@deersbrook.org.
Your two (2) page concept paper should include the following information under appropriate headings:
- Name of Charity and Charitable BN/Registration Number
- Executive Summary (briefly describe your ministry)
- Description of Project
- Statement of Need (why this project?)
- Measurable Outcomes (Spiritual and Social Return on Investment)
- Outline of Project Budget (including any other funders)
- Amount Requested
- Summary of Organization’s Annual Budget (income, expenditures, balance)
- Website Address
- Contact Person (name, mailing address, phone, email)
If your concept paper reflects commitment to the goals of the Deersbrook Foundation and there are funds available that may potentially be allocated to your organization you will be contacted with an invitation to provide additional information.
